While many people knew the current activities and successes of the organization, few knew the depth and breadth of the PFA’s incredible work. The PFA wanted a way to showcase past achievements in a concise way for new employees and potential students. After working with Good Juju Co., they were able to create a piece they could use to easily and clearly share a wealth of information with a variety of viewers.
The Punahou Parent Faculty Association (PFA) wanted to commemorate its 100th year with an art piece that was not only beautiful, but functional too.
Good Juju facilitated a 1-day large group work session with dozens of PFA volunteers. Each volunteer shared personal knowledge, insights and memories, and read through 100 years of PFA records and meeting minutes.
After working through reams of pages, the group worked together to identify significant events and trends. They then passed their notes to the history map leadership team. This leadership team worked with Good Juju’s design team to refine, organize and prioritize data, and identify notable historic events. Lastly, a PFA History map was created and gifted to the school to commemorate PFA’s activities and its 100+ years of service to Punahou School.
